Desh Ek Raag – an Ode to the Nation.

On the occasion of India's 78th Independence Day, ITC Sangeet Research Academy has composed a special musical ensemble - 'Desh Ek Raag' as a tribute to our Nation. The soul stirring video was released by ITC Chairman, Mr Sanjiv Puri. The composition is based on Raag Desh invoking a deep sense of pride and reverence towards our beloved motherland.

ITC has been a pioneer in nurturing the rich heritage of Hindustani classical music. Established nearly 5 decades ago, ITC Sangeet Research Academy is a unique institution that has deeply nurtured the timeless tradition of Guru-Shishya Parampara with a galaxy of some of the most acclaimed Gurus. The knowledge of diverse gharanas and musical training has been imparted over generations to scholars preserving the essence of Hindustani Classical Music over time.
