Prakruti has evolved into a natural farm over the years by adapting to Permaculture, Palekar and other Natural farming techniques. At Prakruti there are fruits, vegetables, herbs and grains along with a few livestock. We will be sharing Natural and Permaculture farming techniques, sustainable practices from all over the world and certainly all the things happening at Prakruti Farm. Prakruti Farms
is in the vicinity of Art of Living on Kanakapura road. You’ll adore the farm for its serenity and verdant greenery. The property is ideally suited for nature lovers, small parties and romantic getaways. One can also involve in farming activities and utilise the farm produce for cooking. The private guest house which is exclusively for the guests consists of a living room, fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The guest house can accommodate 4-6 people including sleeping bags. Guests will have access to the entire farm including the private guest house. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, gas stove and water filter. We do not provide food as of now but a stock of ready to eat packed foods, Maggie, eggs and bread will be available for use. Fresh grown produce of the farm like greens, veggies, fruits and medicinal plants can be used by guests to cook fresh food. Fun games like badminton, board games, playing cards, volley ball, football are at the disposal. There are hammocks to laze around and relax. During sunny days the arecanut plantations provide shade and is a pretty cool place to chill-out. A bonfire can also be made in the late evenings. Prakruti Farms is a 5 acre property. There are different zones in the farm where various crops are grown. We have implemented a Permaculture food forest in an acre of space, there are Vegetable gardens, medicinal plants, Teak plantations, Sapota, Coconut, Arecanut plantations and Millet fields. The place is a host to a wide variety of wild birds and is a haven for bird watchers. We do have domesticated cattle, sheep, dogs and cats in the farm. Prakruti is a family operated farm and anyone of our family members can offer guidance and tour you around the farm during your stay by informing us earlier. Otherwise there is complete privacy. Prakruti Farms is easily commutable by Road.
