Visited the much acclaimed Marché aux fleurs at Nice, this morning. We were welcomed by fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. It's a local farmers' market with stalls selling fresh produce, pickled olives and tomatoes, dried mushrooms, jams and preserves, souvenirs and more.
The highlight of the market is La Socca, the local street food of chickpea pancake. We were early and were advised by the lady at the Socca cart to take a token in advance so that we get our Socca as it's a fast selling product.
It was a nice pancake with crispy bits and some softer portions. Definitely worth the wait.
