M/S Healthy Foods is a proprietary concern of Mr. Nazir Ahmad Wani, S/o Haji Muhammad Afzal Wani R/o Nowpora Kalan Sopore. I conceived the idea of setting up of food processing venture when I participated in food processing training programme in 2005, organized by J &K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) Srinagar in collaboration with (EDII)Ahmadabad at Sopore. Slow & steady I got
much interested in the field. in sep,2006 i was selected for diploma in “fruit and vegetable preservation technology” program by the department of horticulture, fruit and vegetable craft centre, lal Mandi Srinagar. I also participated in the “packaging for exports” programme in February, 2007, organised by the J&KEDI Srinagar in collaboration with Indian Institute of Packaging Delhi . I worked hard to utilize the acquired skills amalgamated with my initiative and desire to emerge up as a prosperous entrepreneur in the field to give a new dimension to the traditional cottage industry with hygienic touch to produce altogether a new range of food related products
