Strengthening Dairy Farming in Bishnupur through Scientific Excellence! 🥛🌾🐄

The Bishnupur District Milk Cooperative Union Ltd. (BIMUL), in collaboration with the Network Project on Animal Genetic Resources, College of Agriculture (CAU Imphal), successfully organized a specialized
"Awareness cm Training Programme on 'Conservation and Scientific Management of Cattle'" today at Oinam Bazar.Our Managing Director, along with the leadership team at BIMUL, welcomed an esteemed panel of experts who provided our local dairy cooperative members and farmers with essential strategies to boost livestock productivity, improve herd health, and adopt modern breeding practices.

BIMUL is proud to have been a part of a high-level meeting today chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Yumnam Khemchand, at the CM Secretariat office in Mantripukhri.Our Managing Director, along with key representatives from the BIMUL Milk Union, joined senior state officials—including Secretary Dr. Rangitabali Waikhom, Director Dr. L. Arunkumar, and Registrar of Cooperative Societies Shri W. Ibohal Singh—to deliberate on a comprehensive roadmap for Manipur's dairy sector.The discussion focused on immediate, actionable steps to significantly boost milk production across Manipur, achieve self-sufficiency, and ensure our consumers get access to high-quality milk at affordable prices. Crucially, the meeting highlighted strategies to strengthen support networks and enhance economic incentives for our hardworking local milk producers.As a vital link between local farmers and consumers, BIMUL stands fully committed to driving this vision forward, empowering our dairy farmers, and making Manipur self-reliant in milk production! 🥛✨
