Your greatest enemy is not outside of you—it is your own uncontrolled mind.

Train your mind, stay present, and peace will follow. 🧘‍♂️🙏

🙏 In Prayer and Compassion

Our hearts are with everyone who has lost their lives, their loved ones, their homes, and those who are suffering during this difficult time.

As Mingyur Rinpoche shared, our monasteries in Nepal and Bodhgaya, together with the Tergar global community, are praying for all those affected.

From our monastery in Nepal, we are also considering different ways we can offer practical support to those who are suffering. We are exploring how we can help in whatever way is most meaningful and beneficial.

We will share more information soon as we find a way to support those in need.

May those who have lost their lives rest in peace.
May those who are suffering find strength, safety, and support.
May our prayers and actions bring benefit to all beings. 🙏

May compassion guide us from prayer into action. 🤍

A Prayer for Those We Have Lost

Today, we offered our prayers for all those who lost their lives in the devastating floods in Nepal. 🙏

May those who have passed away be free from fear and suffering, and may they find peace and a fortunate rebirth.

May their families and loved ones receive strength, courage, and comfort during this difficult time.

May all beings affected by this tragedy be protected from further suffering.

Every morning, we begin the day by coming back to ourselves. 🧘‍♂️
A few moments of stillness, awareness, and presence can change the way we experience the whole day. 🙏

Don’t fight your thoughts. Don’t try to push them away.

Simply notice them, allow them to come, and let them pass.

Your mind is like the sky, and your thoughts are like clouds. ☁️

You are not your thoughts. You are the awareness that notices them.

Let them come. Let them go. 🌿

Shantideva said:
There is no wrongdoing like anger,
and no austerity like patience.
Therefore, with great diligence,
cultivate patience in every possible way.

When the mind is afflicted by the pain of anger,
it never experiences peace.
It cannot find joy or happiness,
it cannot sleep, and it becomes unstable.
