A major sports infrastructure project is taking shape at Kajalgaon, Chirang, dedicated to strengthening sports facilities and creating better opportunities for the young generation of the district.

🎯 VISION OF THE PROJECT

The upcoming sports complex is envisioned as a modern sporting infrastructure for Chirang district, providing an improved platform for athletes, footballers and young sports enthusiasts.

The project is expected to strengthen the district's sporting ecosystem and encourage talented young people to pursue sports at district, state and national levels.

🏆 A LANDMARK FOR CHIRANG

The development of this stadium is more than just the construction of a sports facility. It represents an investment in the youth, talent and sporting future of Chirang.

The stadium complex is expected to become an important venue for sporting events and other major public programmes in the district.

Today, the newly constructed office of the Chirang District Press Club was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Rajya Sabha MP, Shri Rwngwra Narzary.

The programme was attended by reporters and journalists from various media organisations across Chirang district, along with respected leaders and workers of the UPPL party.

After many years of dedicated efforts and waiting, the Chirang District Press Club has finally got its own office. This is a significant and proud moment for the district. The special initiative and support of the Hon’ble MP, Shri Rwngwra Narzary in making this possible is truly noteworthy.

During his five-year tenure, he has supported various development initiatives across Chirang district through his MP Local Area Development Fund, including road construction and improvement, culverts, bridges, public halls, temples, monasteries, mosques and other public development projects.

His commitment towards the development of Chirang district and his efforts to address the needs of the people are highly commendable. For these valuable contributions, the Hon’ble MP deserves our sincere appreciation, gratitude and thanks.

It is hoped that the new Chirang District Press Club office will provide journalists with a better platform to work in an organised manner and will contribute towards strengthening journalism and the media sector in the district.
