What Are Antioxidants and How Does RTB Kombucha Help?

In recent years, the word "antioxidant" has gained a lot of attention in the health world. Ask anyone why a superfood is considered super, and you'll likely hear "antioxidants."

How can we reduce inflammation in the body? Antioxidants.

But many people still wonder: What exactly are antioxidants?

Antioxidants are like heroes for your cells. They protect them from harmful molecules known as free radicals, which can be thought of as troublemakers inside our bodies. Imagine free radicals as pinballs bouncing around, crashing into other cells and disrupting their normal functions. When free radicals run rampant and the body can't keep them in check, it can cause damage that speeds up aging (yes, that includes wrinkles), heart disease, cancer, and other health issues.

Antioxidants are our body's first line of defense against this damage. Picture them as tiny molecules zooming through our bloodstream, like superheroes.
