The journey of BJ groups commenced in the year 1940 by our founder Mr. Beginning his journey as a bullock cart rider, he ventured into Lorry service (SCLS) and Food Products which he named “CHINNAMMAN”. Chandran & Mrs. Suseela Chandran, Mr. Babu, being the pioneer of innovation embarked on Manufacturing and Trading of Rice. This transformation paved way for them to emerge as a Rice Trader (TVS RIC

E TRADERS). As they evolved in the field, Mr. Gowtham Babu, youngest son of Mr. Babu and Mrs. Jayanthi Babu took active interest in the family business. He stepped up and brought multidimensional growth in Branding and Marketing their Own Products “CHINNAMMAN” , “SUSEES’S TRADITIONAL”, GOWTHAM” , “MOHANA’S” as Rice & Millet based products. We proudly state that our Company is governed by traditional family values that exhibits transparency, embraces hospitality by upholding professionalism and demonstrating a strong adherence towards social responsibility.

2016
Started production operations and established
Chennai’s First Millet Mill 🌾

2017 – 2020
Expanded into rice, millets, and traditional healthy foods.

2020 – 2022
COVID changed everything.
A phase filled with struggles, lessons, pressure, and betrayals.
But we kept moving forward.

Faced many ups and downs.
Still continued the journey with belief, hard work, and determination.
