It is July 19, the peak of Kerala's monsoon season. Yet, the rain remains distant as the impact of El Niño continues to challenge our fields.
For the farming community, every season is a test. We face climate uncertainty, ecological changes, political challenges, and financial pressures. Still, we return to the fields every single day—with hope.
Producing even a single grain of rice is never easy. Behind every harvest lies months of hard work, patience, sacrifice, and resilience.
Farming is not just our profession—it is our way of life.
The road ahead may be difficult, but the farming community has never backed away from a challenge. We will continue to sow, nurture, and harvest, because feeding the world begins with the courage of a farmer.
