A 115-year-old English breakfast institution in the heart of Darjeeling. 🇮🇳🍳

📍Established in 1911 by Edwards Keventer, a Swedish dairy entrepreneur, Keventer’s started as a small establishment in Darjeeling during the British era, when the hill station was a popular summer retreat for the British.

Over the decades, while the Keventer’s brand went through several changes in ownership, the Darjeeling outlet continued to preserve its own identity — serving traditional English breakfast, Darjeeling tea, ham, bacon, sausages and more.

Today, more than a century later, people still come here for the food, the old-world charm and that iconic view of the Darjeeling hills.Some places serve breakfast.
Some places serve history. Keventer’s somehow does both.

And if Keventer’s looks strangely familiar, there’s a reason — this iconic terrace was also featured in the 2012 Bollywood film Barfi!, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz. 🎬❤️
