Developed as a regenerative ecosystem, the farm demonstrates practical action & learning for new farmers. Pushkara is a family managed, sustainable farm in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Led by Parvathi Menon, an urban farmer who set up the farms in 2016 and began cultivation as an action-research project, it has evolved into a working project for sustainable, soil-focused farming practices. experimentation over 6 years has yielded learning, knowledge and practical insights on ways to grow nutritious produce combined with building healthy soil, biodiversity in the farm ecosystem and an environmentally sustainable, financially viable agri enterprise.
