All this talk on Khichdi in winters made us make a small batch for us own prior to Khichdi daawat this month. Although khichdi in Rampur is eaten with many combinations, this one with kataliya and bhujiya is my favourite.

Our weekend Lunch at Rampur did not only have the charm of the old city but many forlorn memories! We served Taar-qorma with Tandoori Roti, Gulatthi, Yakhni Pulao and Seekh kabab with a beautiful exhibit by who not only showed us the Kalai metal handiwork but also family heirlooms on the side.
