Chang’s Organic Tea plantation was established in the year of 2014 in Rangajan, Abhoipuria, Golaghat District, Assam and has been in the marketing sector since 2016. We, in Chang’s Organic, specialize in the manufacturing of diverse varieties of tea, which include – Green tea, Orthodox Black tea, Oolong tea, White tea, flavored tea, etc.
Various manufacturing processes and techniques are used for producing different tea varieties. Rapid use of chemicals and fertilizers has forced people to find a healthy way of living. The rising demand for organic foods and beverages is seen in the global market and is expected to rise even more during the upcoming years. So, we here, are making the best efforts from our side in contributing in an organic way possible. Through Chang’s Organic Tea, it is our one step towards achieving that goal.
Organic tea is produced using environmental-friendly methods of cultivation. Instead of relying on hazardous chemicals that damage the environment, we use traditional, natural methods of pest and w**d control. The organic inputs that we use for its production include – vermicompost, cow-dung, cow-urine, hot chili (bhoot Jolokia), ginger and garlic. Moreover, we also mix medicine plants that we gather from the jungle nearby, thereby helping in pest control of the tea plantations. The main processes that we follow in the making of Chang’s Organic Tea involve – plucking, steaming, hand rolling, fermentation, drying and sorting the tea leaves. After these processes, testing is done on the tea leaves and then the best quality tea leaves are assembled and packed for marketing.
