Once sold in cellophane packets in 1950, the Panzani brand caused a stir in the market since pasta has only ever been packaged in boxes till then. Danone buys Panzani in 1973 and it was then the brand expanded its global horizons. And soon after that, Panzani became the No.1 pasta in France.

In 2005, Panzani became a part of Ebro Foods, Spain’s No.1 agribusiness company. Today, Panzani is available in over 50 countries. In 2016, it forayed in India, the land of taste to let Indians “Make Something New” with the world’s 2nd most popular pasta
