Pikova water is Himalayan artesian water, served exactly as the source gives it.

This week, that idea travelled further. Pikova was Event Partner at the Conference on Business Opportunities in BIMSTEC Countries, hosted by MIICCIA, a room thinking about water across the Bay of Bengal: India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and others.

Drawn from a confined aquifer 250 feet down, naturally alkaline at pH 7.8, not corrected, not adjusted. Every jar follows the Non-Reusable Model: one jar, one home, one use. Never refilled, collected and recycled under EPR.

The philosophy is older than the brand. Shadang asked for water to be whole, not improved. That’s the instruction we kept.

Pikova was the Event Partner at the Conference on Business Opportunities in BIMSTEC Countries, hosted by MIICCIA.

Saurabh Singh introduced Pikova to a room thinking about water across the Bay of Bengal - India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand and beyond. The idea was simple: one partner per country, with a defined volume and a defined period.

The philosophy is older than the brand.

What the earth leaves behind, lives in every drop of Pikova.

Calcium and magnesium, bicarbonates, sulphates, chlorides and silica, picked up naturally as Pikova makes its way from its Himalayan source.

Nothing added later.
Just what the journey brings with it.

Not every water vessel needs a second life with the same water.

Pikova’s Non-Reusable Model (NRM) is built on a simple idea: the water deserves to stay untouched, even if the vessel doesn’t.

When a 20L vessel reaches your home, it isn’t refilled and sent back out with new water. After its last pour, it’s collected for recycling instead.

Because preserving water’s integrity should never mean wasting the vessel.

Water shouldn’t leave a trace behind.

From source to your home, Pikova’s Non-Reusable Model is built on a simple idea one vessel, one journey, then responsibly recycled.

Each 20L vessel is sealed at the source, delivered to you, and collected after its last pour. Never washed, refilled, or reused.

Because what holds the water matters just as much as the water itself.

In India, mastery has never been only about creating something new.

It has also been about preservation, knowing when something is already complete, and when the most meaningful thing you can do is to let it remain as it is.

From the enduring expressions of Ajanta to the Chola bronzes that still speak in their original language, our relationship with art has always carried a certain restraint: not everything needs to be altered to be made valuable.

At Pikova, we look at water the same way.

By the time it reaches us from its named source in the Himalayas, it has already been shaped by nature, time, rock, and its long journey through the earth.

It is already complete.
Our role is not to recreate it.

It is to preserve its character, present it with intention, and pass it on with care.

At Pikova, we see water as an Indian art form.

By the time it arrives from its source, it is already a finished work shaped by nature, time, and its long journey through the earth.

It is not ours to improve.

It is ours to protect, to present with intention, and to hand over with care.
Because when nature has already created something exceptional, perhaps the highest form of craft is knowing when not to interfere.

Some art is not ours to change. It is ours to carry.

For Bharatanatyam dancer Anannya Chatterjee, traditional Kalakshetra choreographies are more than pieces to perform. They are inheritances shaped by artists and teachers before her, some remembered by name, some carried quietly as part of the tradition itself.

She speaks of Prof. C. V. Chandrasekhar’s classic choreographies with that same sense of responsibility to learn them, conserve them, and share them without altering what makes them what they are. She is currently learning them under Shri Renjith Babu and Smt Vijna Vasudevan, who are graciously passing on Prof. CVC’s choreographies to her and her fellow students.

Because when something has been entrusted to you, preservation itself becomes a form of respect.

The dancer becomes the medium.
The choreography continues its journey.

And perhaps this is where Anannya’s philosophy meets Pikova to receive something already complete, honor its character, and carry it forward with care.
