Hands down , PONK wins the crown for being most coveted and waited for Millet form in Gujarat.

It is tender roasted sorghum/jowar grains originating from limited areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Mostly eaten fresh with lemon pepper sev, it often graces tables in form of vada, in soups, chillas , bhel, kebabs, pattice and more. A winter wedding Menu graces ponk in various forms, for sure. And Ponk Farm party invitations are much awaited.
