Honestly, this one tastes like a warm hug in dessert form – smooth, slightly bitter, perfectly sweet, and just the right kick of caffeine. If you’re a coffee lover, this is the dessert that’s going to win your heart (and your late-night cravings).
Ingredients
• 1 cup fresh cream
• ¾ cup milk
• ¼ cup sugar
• 2 tsp instant coffee
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 2 tbsp water (to make slurry)
☕ Coffee Syrup
• ¼ cup sugar
• 2 tbsp water
• 1 tsp instant coffee
Method
1. Heat cream, milk, sugar, and coffee until sugar dissolves.
2. Mix cornstarch with water, whisk into hot mixture.
3. Cook until it thickens slightly.
4. Pour into cups, chill overnight.
5. Next day, demold and drizzle with coffee syrup.
For coffee syrup
1. Heat sugar and water until sugar dissolves.
2. Stir in coffee, simmer 1 min.
3. Cool before drizzling.
