I’m the author, and creator behind TOG, ‘Taste of Guwahati – The Food Blog’. ‘Taste of Guwahati’ is my little corner of the internet!

Guwahati, ‘The City of Eastern Lights of India’ is an earthly paradise on a rocky terrain and worth to be discovered for its pristine beauty. Also being the ‘Largest City of Assam and Gateway to the North- East India’, Guwahati serves as a base and the first destination for all the visitors to the North-East.

Here, I always share experiences of me and my team of experts and friends, about all the food corners and delicious cuisine that we visit in the city of Guwahati, usually everyday. If we wouldn’t eat something in the real life, I won’t put in on the blog.

Apart from the scenic beauty, Guwahati has a wide array of incredibly delicious cuisine with its distinct flavour and taste. But with the flood of options and reviews, it’s often hard to find out the right taste of your tongue and settle down with some good food. This is where, ‘Taste of Guwahati’ takes up the challenge and present before you some of the irresistible gastronomic delights that everyone within the city must give a try.

Adelle Davis, an American author and nutritionist, once quoted,“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.” ‘Taste of Guwahati’ has kept its centre of attention and prime focus on the uniqueness of taste and strives to unite the most popular tastes from all corners of the city.

Unlike other websites featuring only the famous restaurants and hotels, our sole objective is to probe all relevant and necessary questions often asked about locating the most popular and best food items and also guiding them towards the best food offered all across the city.

While we shall continue to amplify the plethora of food details, we also look forward to your suggestions and feedbacks on the tastes displayed on TOG (Taste of Guwahati).
