Information Sharing for Food, Nutrition and Income Security, Community Sustainable Development and Empowerment. Training interested farmers’ groups on organic farming
techniques and practices in order to reclaim the ecological status of the project area and achieve
sustainability in food production. It assists fa

rmers by
creating awareness towards the dangers of conventional farming based on synthetic external
inputs. It assists farmers in selling their production to viable markets. It promotes eco-tourism for
overall village development and self reliance. It promotes traditional handlooms / craft locally as
well as globally. Organic Majuli is trade mark and brand name of Lauhitya Livelihood Pvt. Ltd for practices and
promotion of organic farming. Lauhitya Livelihood Private Limited is an organization that
provides high-end Agriculture based services to social businesses, enterprises and government-led
initiatives in India with an aim to create employment and sustainability, income security to the
rural areas of North-East. Organic Majuli is focused on the products based on Organic Farming and Green and renewable
energy provides practical solutions for today's challenges as well as flexible solutions to deal with
tomorrow's opportunities. Having the knowledge, expertise, best practices, technology and
analytics to transform, revitalize and foster on-going innovation is the minimum. They specialize
in Organic farming; Renewable energy and other electronic products and consultancy. Organic Majuli’s total cultivated areas is more than 300 Bighas (Which is equal to the 100 arc). Currently, they are practicing organic farming in four districts in producers group model. They
are- Kamrup Metro (In khetri Bahtola Village), Golaghat District (Paduma Pather), Jorhat
District (Manomrioy Tea Graden and Majuli), Biswhanath Chariali (Pavoi).
