Glimpses of World Environment Day 2026 celebrations at Machkhua Kahibari M.E. School and the Machkhua DCS Campus.
The programme commenced with an Art Competition on the theme, *“My Dream Green Village,”* encouraging students to express their vision for a sustainable and environmentally conscious future.
This was followed by insightful addresses from the Managing Director, WAMUL; General Manager, WAMUL; the Headmaster of the school; and the DCS Secretary, who highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and collective efforts towards building a greener future.
As part of the celebrations, a plantation drive was conducted with the participation of the MD and GM of WAMUL, Purabi employees, school faculty members, students, and DCS members, symbolising a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the competition winners, followed by refreshments and the distribution of Purabi flavoured milk.
The event served as a meaningful platform to raise environmental awareness and inspire collective action towards creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
