The beginning of the brand “Hegde Food Products” can be traced back to 1985 in Hubli when Hegde’s started making small quantities of pickles and spices at home as a side earning for the family, later they decided to establish a full-fledged business of Pickles & Spices. Now it has been almost 37 years since

then and they have never looked back. What started at a humble home went on to become a brand with National as well as International outreach. While our domestic market is spread in southern part of India, our oversea market includes the Middle East, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and a few of the European countries. The company “Hegde Food Products” is not just a company that manufactures good quality Pickles, Papads, etc. We are a company that makes space in the hearts of those who consume our products. The customers who have been loyal to the brand for decades now can vouch for a distinct taste and aroma that no other brand can promise or deliver. It’s our founders who have mastered this unique recipe & aroma over these years and it is impossible for anyone to replicate without their love & guidance. One of the tricks of maintaining this unique taste has been the majority employment of their own village’s women. Hegde’s are very sensitive and thoughtful entrepreneurs with their collective interests in the development & empowerment of women of their village and the society at large. As of now, in the year 2020, the company has reached 60+ SKUs (Distinct Products) in its production basket which includes a variety of Pickles, Natural Fruit Spreads, Natural Liquid Jaggery, Natural Vegetable Papads, Natural Raw Honey, Spices, and other processed food items. Hegde’s "ready to eat" range of products by the name “PRAVASI UPHAR” is ready to launch in the Indian market by early 2021, In the coming months company is also coming up with a Natural Ketchup’s range for our people. The company has its full-fledged manufacturing unit at Hubli Dharwad which is also Karnataka's mango capital. Our factory operates with very specific quality control measures in order to maintain the finest quality of food products. From methodical selection of the choicest ingredients from the market to the implementation of Quality Control procedures at every stage of food processing, HFP leaves no stone unturned to ensure that the products leaving the factory are of finest quality and carry our traditional taste & aroma. The unique taste and distinct aroma of our products are also certified with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 22000:2005, and HAACP. Additionally, the company is also certified by the Central board of Kadhi & Village industries India.
