We have many ways to answer that question.

Last month, it was firefly season. Now, the forest is lush green, which means the monsoon is here.

Living among trees has changed the way we experience the seasons. We look to the trees, the colour of their leaves and the life they shelter, to know where we are in the year.

As coffee growers, we are learning that some of the most important work happens underground. Beneath every coffee tree is a living soil food web made up of fungi, bacteria, and other microorganisms that quietly shape the sweetness, balance, and resilience of our coffee.

Healthy soil biology also helps other trees and shrubs in the forest thrive, creating a stronger, more balanced ecosystem.
