Biodynamic Farming

Biodynamic Farming Go organic, save the soil. Its never too late. FAMILY FARMING HISTORY: My grandfather leased a farm in Kenya, Kesumu, Kibos. on the bank of lake Victoria. I was 5.

A 450 acre farm on lease for 999 years. My father was born there in 1925. They grew sugarcane. The soil was virgin. The first time they planted sugar cane, which was harvested for 18 years. The soil and any thing that grew on it was an expression of heaven. Our family came back to India for the love of our mother land. My father always said,"Punjab is calling out to me". The year was 1964. We came

took boarded a ship. I remember the lovely deep blue sea. Next I remember is going to our village, on a truck, a dusty journey. The village had mud houses. ( we had a double storied brick house and are called Africa Walae) the Persian wells were in operation, the carts and their wheels were made of wood, all farmers had oxen to plow their fields. The dresses were traditional. No electricity. no tube wells. no engines. no tractors. no fertilizers. no w**d killers. no pesticides. no cancer. no heart problems. no diabetes. People were healthy their cattle were strong and well fed. There was no term called "FOOD SECURITY" every one grew every thing they consumed. Today, it is a pity, Punjab is breeding poison. we have 2% of the Indian agricultural land. we consume 10% of the national fertilizer. The soil is soil no more. It is just a medium to provide an anchor to plants and crops, which are then drugged with heavy doses of chemicals and poisons. The out come is.... Sick dead soil, yielding nutrition devoid apparent food. The filler food sickens the body and soul, causing distress and disease. The reaction is bad moods, low morality, hate, fear, jealousy, insecurity and all sorts of negative energy. We are what we eat. Grow your own food. It may be not enough. But start from a small patch, a kitchen garden, some pots, a small crate. All you need is a pure intention, a soil, seeds, water.. a lot of love and little guts. Strive to awaken.
