Some treasures don’t need to be discovered, they need to be remembered.
Growing up in India, many of us have seen wood apple also called Kaith in village homes, roadside stalls, summer sherbets, and recipes lovingly made by our grandparents. It was never called a “superfruit” back then, but it quietly was one all along , packed with fiber, minerals, antioxidants, and a goodness that our roots always understood.
But somewhere between imported berries, flashy packaging, and changing food habits, we slowly left behind fruits that truly belonged to our land.
At Abrosaa, we kept asking ourselves what if we could bring this forgotten fruit back, not as a memory, but as a part of modern everyday life?
That thought became our Wood Apple Dip a bold, tangy, wholesome spread made from real wood apple pulp and Indian spices. Dip your nachos in it, spread it on your toast, layer it into sandwiches, pair it with snacks and suddenly, an old Indian superfruit finds a new place on your table.
Sometimes innovation is not about creating something new.
Sometimes, it is about bringing back what we should never have forgotten.
