Cooking is on in full swing for today’s popup. There is Paplet (pomfret), Kolambi (prawns), Bombil (Bimba duck), soft lamb, veggies (a few from our garden), mangoes, and home made chutneys. Also, if you are coming, you get to see our jackfruit tree. It has soooo many jackfruits.
For tomorrow, we have a few seats available.

We hosted the first of our three pop-ups planned for this month. We literally had entire Mumbai representing at the table. Wadala, Andheri, Dadar, Kandivali, Borivali, traveling all the way to experience our thali. Some were repeat guests who loved their previous experience and wanted their parents to try Pathare Prabhu cuisine.
Can’t wait to host the pop-up next weekend.

Experience an authentic Pathare Prabhu thali at our home in Jogeshwari East. It’s summer, so we have a summer menu. We are making Solache with Paplet. Roasted jackfruit fritters, prawn pickle with raw mangoes, Tomato chi sheer, Sagoo kheer with mangoes. It’s going to be fun. We are super excited to cook the menu. So, what are you waiting for? Come over!

Our first pop-up in 2026 ! We welcomed the start of the new year with a lot of interesting conversations, good food, and great company. Thank you, ! It’s been a pleasure hosting you all at our home this December. We will be back soon.

Our Sunday lunch was extra special. Three generations of the family came together at the table, joined by Bruce—the adorable, multilingual, four-legged member of the family. Thank you for dining with us and celebrating your birthday with us. The love and appreciation from all for the food we served truly made our day and our hearts full.

10 guests joined us for our popup event. 5 of them sat across each other, realized they are from the same apartment. Out of 10, 5 have dined with us before. For 2, this was their second time with us. For 1, it was the fourth. All 10 left with happy tummies and a promise to be back next year and even get their family.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today for our Pathare Prabhu pop-up thali lunch event. Next year we will complete 10 years of our pop-up dining experience and introducing to the world. Each event is special and we cherish the whole experience of curating these events. Our biggest joy is to see empty, well-eaten plates and our guests asking if there is a bed to nap on after the meal. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to share our home and community food with you.
