I am exhilarated to present my debut book as an author, and what could be more gratifying than witnessing my maiden book, being unveiled by Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Govt of India. I embarked on this journey as a social entrepreneur for the upliftment of the farmers of India through the pursuit of forging efficacious cooperatives. The mantle of an author and editor has been the latest plumage in my headgear. The book, christened “Life and Livelihoods” encompasses 14 sagacious narratives by IAS Officers in aspirational districts of Indian States and would be included in the syllabus of IAS Officers during their training period. I am indebted to my mentor and advisor, Dr. Rakesh Arrawatia, Shri Shelesh Nawal, IAS, Dy. Director LBSNAA for spurring me to indite the book.
