This bull is the Dam(mother) of Vishnu. Lot of people ask me why I didn't use this bull till now. Look at the characteristics of the cow, especially the horns. I have seen pictures of this cow 14 years back. I do that much minimum research before purchasing any bull or semen generally.

Lot of people in breeding field use any random bull just because of the bloodline or simply because others are using. I never used or use in future the same way. I cannot spoil or degrade my herd using any bull without checking that bulls history in terms of phenotype and genotype.

Well one more strong reason for not using this semen until now is I have 100 more alternatives so why to use just because it gave some good milk in her daughters. There used to be many other bulls which perfomed much beyond this and better in all aspects.

So this is my answer to everyone asking me about Vishnu bull of BAIF.

Once again I am saying I don't use any bull or semen just on the name of bloodline. I will know in and out of any bull before using that.

Radhika gave an exceptional female calf out of Krishna AGB 139.

Radhika is one of the finest specimen in our herd. And this is the dam of our future bull ROCKY and this calf is real sister of Rocky.

Selection done a decade ago is showing result now. And if someone think its just about milk then No. There is much more beyond that.

And this cow Radhika is daughter of our old bull Ganesh.

I want to have a discussion on this topic. Check the pictures clearly. Its said that conception rate of conventional semen is 60-70% and conception rate of S*x sorted semen is 85+ %. How come this is possible? But I would like to clarify 2 things
1) The s***m count in conventional straws will be. 10 times more than sorted straws
2) Actually I have heard this practically from doctors that animals are conceving more with sorted straws than conventional.

I am just wondering how come this is happening.

For those who ask how many years does a semen straw will be intact. Here is a sample video of 71 year old frozen semen of a famous Ongole bull Karavadi by Brazilians. You can see motility in the video.
