A graduate in Chemistry, Madhu started his career with Tata Tea ltd S 'spice division Cochin 3in Quality Control Department as a chemist in the year 1999.. After a stint of six years in the year 2005, he
moved to the Packet Tea Division of Tata Global Beverages Ltd (Erstwhile Tata Tea Limited). During his tenure in the packet tea segment, he not only mastered the art of analyzing the quality of the various grades of Tea viz-BB, BPS, BOP, BOPsm, OF ( Leaf Grades), SFD, SRD, RD, PD, Dust, CD, FD, GD ( Dust Grades) but also established himself as an adept Tea taster and a blender. While with Tata Global Beverages he was entrusted with the task of carrying out tea garden audit in Munnar, Valparai, Nilgiri & Assam estates, which has honed his skills in identifying the tea manufacturing process and the quality of tea, thereby giving him the ability to procure teas at the right price and giving the customer quality product at the right price. Madhu in his stint at the packaging units of Indore, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Aurangabad, Cochin, was entrusted with maintaining the quality of the finished product, which has helped him identifying the defects that occurs in FG packets and take steps to prevent occurrence. This capacity of his reduces the hidden cost involved in the manufacturing process, thereby eliminating the necessity to hike prices of his produce. After being with TGBL for 13 long years, in the year 2018, Madhu decided to start his own brand. Starting solo, his skill in blending, tasting along with his uncanny ability to pick up good tea at the right price, he has in a very short time succeeded in establishing a reputation for himself in the market".
