A rich and innovative blend combining the heritage of bulgur with the flavor of seasoned minced meat in an irresistible crunch! 🌾✨ The spring rolls that will become your new obsession!
Ingredients:
1 pack of Switz Spring Roll sheets
1 cup coarse bulgur, washed
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tomato, finely diced
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp mixed spices
Salt, to taste
Boiling water (for cooking the bulgur)
For the Meat:
250g minced meat
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp mixed spices
Salt, to taste
Instructions::
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté the onion until golden and soft.
Add the tomato paste and diced tomatoes, and stir well to combine the flavors.
Add the washed bulgur, mix it with the tomato mixture, and stir for a few more minutes to absorb the flavors.
Season with black pepper, mixed spices, and salt to taste, then pour just enough boiling water to cover the bulgur. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and let it simmer until the bulgur is fully cooked and tender (add more water if needed during cooking).
In a separate pan over medium heat, add the minced meat and stir until fully cooked and browned, then season it with half a teaspoon of black pepper, mixed spices, and salt.
Mix the cooked minced meat with the cooked bulgur in a large bowl, and let the filling cool completely before wrapping.
Stuff the Switz spring roll sheets with a tablespoon of the mixture and roll them tightly.
Deep fry them in hot, abundant oil until they turn golden and wonderfully crispy.
Serve hot and enjoy the unique taste!
For cooking the meat:
In a separate pan, sauté the minced meat with black pepper, mixed spices, and salt to taste, until the meat is browned and fully cooked.
Mix the cooked meat and bulgur together, then set aside to cool.
Take a spring roll sheet, stuff it with a tablespoon of the mixture, roll it up, and seal it tightly using the flour and water paste.
Deep fry them in abundant oil and serve with yogurt.
