Nestled among the lofty Himalayas, where the Beas incessantly sings her beautiful song, lies the magical estate of Aramgarh. Aramgarh Estate was established in the heydays of the British Raj and has witnessed many a transformation. The story goes back six generations when our great grandparents came to Kullu Manali as traders along the silk route and acquired a big chunk of land in Raison in 1928.
Lured by the serene environs, our great grandfather thought it to be ideal for a resort and hence set up the prestigious May Flower Hotel. The lay of the land even supported a mini golf course. After the Britishers left the renowned Khullar family transformed the land into a thriving fruit orchard, primarily of apple. Now the estate boasts of many an exotic fruit like cherries, nectarines, mariposa, kiwi, apricots, peaches and persimmon alongside our famed apples and pomegranates. We, Bhanu and Manav Khullar are now keen to share this bounty of nature with all those who want to live the Orchard experience. At Aramgarh Orchards we’d like you and your family to connect with the farm and experience firsthand the whole journey right from plantation to pollination and then harvest. It would be our pleasure to introduce your children to farm life. Our girls have planted many a trees, climbed their branches, rejoiced in their blossoms and picked the luscious fruit all in complete harmony with nature. They have seen the trees come to life after the long white winter when spring arrives in all its glory with flowers, butterflies and bees galore. It’s a sight to be seen and cherished. We consider it our privilege to open our doors to all wanting to show their children the ways, moods and joys of nature. We want you to know your trees, yes literally know them!!!
