Bichu Devi Kharibam’s hockey journey took an unexpected turn when a coach saw her potential and encouraged her to switch from striker to goalkeeper.

Today, she is part of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team that secured a commanding win over South Africa at the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Hockey World Cup Belgium and Netherlands 2026

In partnership with Hockey India, Anandana - The Coca-Cola India Foundation supported a specialised goalkeeping camp under renowned coach David Williamson. The sessions helped players develop technical skills, game awareness, and decision-making.
