It was started in association with PAU, Ludhiana and then after its bifurcation, with Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. Since then, it has held many fairs, exhibitions and even printed journals and magazines for dairy farmers. PDFA is an organisation that has broken new ground in its mission to uplift and ensure the welfare of dairy farmers. Its brain child, PDS, now has three major concerns that it invests its interests in. It has an efficient Agri Services cell and a versatile Agri Mart. It is launching its dairy initiative under the brand name La’Pure. With an efficient distribution network in place, PDS is ready to make a splash in the dairy market. It is dedicated to the cause of providing the best to both the farmers and the consumer. In the initial phase, milk, butter, paneer, Lassi and Dahi will be made available in Punjab and other products will be subsequently added to its repertoire. With the purity and hygiene of most dairy products in the market being questionable, compromise is the buzz word.
