Located in Industrial Estate Baikampady Mangalore, Merger Beverages P.Ltd., has the only fully automatic soft drink and soda bottling unit in entire Dakshina Kannada. as used a unique way to promote it's brand Merger Club Soda by associating it with local culture, local flavour and local heroes. Tiger Dance, Kambla are some of the local cultural themes that Company used to promote it's brand during the years. The company signed up with the famous Tulu Theatre Group "Bale Cha Parka" which is a house old name in Dakshina Kannada and Devdas Kapikad and Naveen Padil became the ambassadors to promote Merger Soda from 1998 onward. It was then the famous punch Line "Namma Oorda, Namma Neerda" became popular... so much so that even in a fish market, fish vendor use it to sell their catch using the same punch line. Subsequently the brand promoted their product through Big FM comedy talk show hosted by Devdas Kapikad and recently once again Merger has associated with Devdas Kapikad and Naveen Padil to jointly promote their upcoming movie "Telikeda Bolli" along with the Merger Soda. The brand has received excellent feedback for it's new campaign. Merger Beverages has future plans to launch its popular soda in PET bottles by October 2012 along with a Masala soda called OYES and Coolem - a lemon drink. The company is also working on getting the original formula of Double Seven from CFTRI, Mysore and secure the brand name made famous by another Mangalorean, Mr.George Fernandes, for which it has filed for registration with the Trade Mark and Patent authorities.
