Visited UPITS 2026 at Greater Noida Expo Centre and had meaningful discussions with the Joint Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Director, Fisheries, on enhancing productivity, strengthening value chains, adopting technology, and improving fish price realization to maximize farmer benefits. Grateful to the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Fisheries Department for their support and collaboration.

Today, I had the privilege of visiting the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad, and meeting the Chief Executive, Dr. Behra. We held insightful discussions on strengthening outreach programmes, promoting value addition, enhancing aquaculture productivity, accelerating PMMSY 2 implementation, and developing effective marketing strategies to improve fish farmers’ price realization and income.
