Some traditions don’t come from recipes…
they come from memories. 🤍
Growing up, Shrove Tuesday wasn’t just another day on the calendar , it meant the kitchen coming alive a little earlier, the sound of batter whisking, and the smell of Alle Belle filling the house.
Golden, soft pancakes made with love, shared straight from the pan, and always eaten together as a family. No fancy plating, just laughter, stories, and that quiet understanding that this meal marked the beginning of the Lenten season a time to slow down, reflect, and reset.
Before the simplicity of Lent begins, we gather, we share, and we celebrate the sweetness of togetherness.
Because sometimes traditions aren’t about food…
they’re about belonging. ✨
Happy Shrove Tuesday 🤍🥞
