My Oh My!

We tried this place today because our daughter wanted Italian and the online photos looked promising. The restaurant is cozy — not a “wow” — but the Christmas décor did add a cute festive touch.

The Margherita pizza and spaghetti were just… average. Cocktails didn’t impress. The sun-dried tomato pasta tasted more like Indian gravy, while the truffle mushroom Cappelletti was the only real win. Even the adorable teddy-bear chocolate mousse tasted meh.
Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow.

Overall: A place you can easily skip — and trust me, you won’t miss a thing (except maybe the Christmas décor).

Mother’s Day lunch scenes!

Tried Angry Sardar in Andheri – cool vibes (hello, truck-bar!) and hearty Indian food.

Hit list: Melt-in-the-mouth Dahi Kebabs, crispy Makai ke Pakode, fab Fish Fry, and their Chur Chur Naan combo – total winner!
Chicken Biryani = clean plates.
Paneer Papad Sabzi though? Hard pass.

Great portions, chill ambience, and lots of food love. A definite try!

Breakfast dates just hit different 🍽️✨

This morning was all about spontaneous plans and good food! Our daughter woke up and we asked, “Wanna go to Benne for breakfast?” — and off we went! No queue outside (yay!) but packed inside. Loved the smooth setup — self-order kiosk and token system. Super efficient! 🙌

We got our forever faves — Idli Vada for me and the little one, and my wife went for her go-to Benne Plain Podi Dosa. Let me just say… the hype is real.
💯 Softest idlis, crispiest vadas, and that heavenly benne — total bliss!
And how could we skip the legendary cold filter coffee? ☕❄️ Perfect end to a perfect breakfast!

Definitely coming back. If you haven’t been to Benne Juhu, add it to your list and thank me later 😄

Our Coffee Date! ☕️✨

Today, we went for a coffee date at this hidden gem known as .in nestled near the Iskon temple in Juhu. Think cozy bakery vibes with a mouthwatering selection of chocolate tarts, croissants, and sandwiches, plus enough coffee to fuel a small army.

We decided to go bold and ordered a Margherita pizza (with pesto, because why not?), truffle mushrooms (fancy!), a mini chocolate tart (because one bite isn’t enough), Spanish coffee, and coconut Vietnamese coffee.

Now, the reviews for Masa are as mixed as my daughter’s love for vegetables. But honestly? We loved the truffle mushrooms and that mini chocolate tart was pure bliss. The Margherita pizza? Let’s just say it was... average, according to my wife, who has high pizza standards.

But the real winners were the coffees! We both loved what we ordered, so it looks like we’ll be back for round two—who knows what other caffeinated treasures await?

All in all, it was a delightful evening filled with laughs and treats. Can’t wait for the next coffee adventure!

"Yesterday, we discovered the vibrant flavors of Goan cuisine 🍹 The restaurant's outdoor area radiated a true Goan vibe with its colorful decor and greenery, but we opted for the cozy upstairs café atmosphere.

We started with refreshing cocktails: a cucumber and jalapeno gin with a spicy kick, and a tequila-based Majhe Mogha Majhe Goa, rimmed with salt and packed with flavor. For starters, the Kaju Kothimbir wadi was average, and was the rava fish fry. But the Ros omelette and Chicken Xacuti Curry with POI stole the show— both were absolutely delicious!

Overall, a must-visit for its lively ambiance, outstanding cocktails, and their standout dishes. 🌴🍽️✨

Today to celebrate our anniversary, we decided to indulge in a culinary adventure at the charming Que Sera Sera nestled in Andheri West. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its cozy ambiance and minimalist aesthetics. 🌟

The menu, boasting European, continental, and Italian cuisine, offering tantalizing options.

We started with the divine *Poached Egg and Avo Toast* - bursting with amazing flavors atop sourdough bread. 🥑🍳
Next up, we savored the *Handmade Tortellini Pasta filled with lemon basil ricotta* - crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and perfectly complemented by the sauce. 🍝
And let's not forget the Spaghetti Chilli Garlic Cacio e Pepe, a symphony of flavors that left us craving for more! 🔥🧀

Of course, no meal is complete without pizza, and the Margherita Pizza at Que Sera Sera was simply divine! 🍕 Washed down with their expertly crafted cocktails, our anniversary lunch became an unforgettable experience. 🍹✨

Que Sera Sera has definitely earned a spot on our "must-visit again" list, and we can't wait to return for another culinary journey. 🌈 Cheers to love, good food, and memorable moments! 🥂

Last Sunday I cooked up something effortlessly delicious! I reached for some 100% Wheat noodles from that's wonderfully thin and slurp-worthy. In a pan, I sautéed some garlic, green chili, boiled broccoli, vibrant carrots, and colorful bell peppers. Then, I poured in the magic - .in Ban Bang cooking sauce—infusing the kitchen with lovely aromas.

After achieving the perfect sauce consistency with a splash of water, came the star of the show—the noodles! Tossed to perfection, they absorbed every drop of that delectable sauce, promising an explosion of flavour in every bite.

To elevate the dish, I sprinkled it with roasted sesame seeds and a dash of fiery chili garlic crisps. The result? A piping hot bowl of pure comfort and flavor, ready to excite your taste buds!

Last Night was all about cheap booze, good food and late night dessert 😋
I tried this new place in 4 Bungalows called . Talking about the ambience I'll say they have stuck to basics. The place is ideal especially for a group of friends who don't care much about the chic look of a place and are looking for a good time with some reasonable booze and desi Indian and Chinese food, this place is apt for them.

We tried the Tandoori Stuffed Mushrooms and it was yum, followed by my brother's and wife's favourite Chicken lollipop and as per them it was perfect. Talking about the main course my favourite Paneer Tikka Masala and Naan which was cooked to perfection. However my wife and brother tried Chicken Bhuna which was very average. Overall a nice place that youbmust experience.

Ended the night Juhu branch with a scoop of delight 😉

Rediscovering My Food Journey!

In the midst of the pandemic, my kitchen became my sanctuary, giving birth to my Instagram food handle. It kept me sane —cooking, experimenting, and sharing my cooking adventures. As life picked up, so did my travel work, sidelining my food passion.

And then, Thea arrived 👼, adding a whole new flavor to my life ❤️ Juggling parenthood and work made my food handle take a backseat, but this long weekend provided an opportunity to reignite my flame for cooking 🍲!
I couldn't resist creating a feast—Methi Malai Anda Chaman 🐣, Malai Brocolli 🥦, Paratha, and more, turning our Republic Weekend 🇮🇳 into a flavorful celebration. While a video shoot with my daughter around was out of the question 😜, capturing some pictures became my way of preserving these precious moments. Here's to the joy of cooking, the chaos of parenthood, and the fusion of both in my Instagram food diary. ❤️
