2006… When India was still sipping its everyday chai, she chose to leave behind a thriving corporate career. A young MBA with her family’s support, she opened a boutique in Bandra, introducing white, green, oolong, and tisanes, all through her desi rendition of a “tea ceremony” ☕️

2006… While foreign labels were launching Darjeelings abroad and friends returned with imported teas, she stayed rooted in India🪷crafting an “organic tea story” with her partners at Ambootia tea gardens💪🏾

2012… As the world was only beginning to say “green tea,” she was already innovating🍃bringing tea closer to everyday life through food pairings, tea-infused recipes, and creative formats that celebrated its versatile nature.

Drawing inspiration from her mother, grandmother Nuskas and plantation partners across the world, she made tea relevant, modern, and deeply personal, assimilating its goodness into daily rituals. Tea bars, Tea etiquette training, smart blends like Mukhwas inspired by the Indian paan to turmeric blends long before it became a trending herb in Covid 😎
