White Pepper & Cashew Stew: The Creamy Comfort 🤍🍗
Swap heavy cream for the natural richness of cashews. This velvety, aromatic stew is pure comfort on a plate.
Ingredients:
500g Chicken Breast (cubed)
The Gravy: ½ cup cashews (soaked), 1 large onion (chopped), 2 tsp white peppercorns (ground).
The Spices: 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp cumin seeds, salt.
Finish: 1 tsp ghee, fresh cilantro.
Method:
1️⃣ Sauté: Heat ghee; add cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté onions until translucent.
2️⃣ Simmer:Add chicken and ground white pepper. Cook until the chicken changes color.
3️⃣ Blend: Grind the soaked cashews into a smooth paste with a little water.
4️⃣ Finish: Pour the cashew paste over the chicken. Simmer on low heat for 8–10 mins until the gravy thickens and the chicken is tender.
Clean, aromatic, and packed with healthy fats and lean protein. Serve hot with steamed rice or rotis! 🍚✨
