One month of 66.

There have been long days, a healthy amount of improvisation, the occasional fire to put out and more conversations than we can count.

Somewhere between prep, service and the general madness of opening a micro-restaurant, we got a little better at finding the method in the chaos.

This is the first month from our side of the pass!

Our Madeleines are baked fresh to order and served warm with lemon orange blossom cream, bringing a gentle citrus brightness softened by delicate floral notes.

When we started 66, it was just a handful of people trying to build the kind of place we believed the city was missing. Since then, the team has grown, the space has evolved, and the pace has picked up faster than we expected.

But one thing hasn’t changed - this is still a very hands-on operation.

We’re here every single day, the team works closely across departments, and everyone - from the kitchen to housekeeping - plays a part in keeping the place running the way it should.

And now, we’re looking to expand the team with people who genuinely care about food, hospitality, attention to detail, and being part of something growing.
This is a fast-paced environment with a lot happening in a relatively small space - but if you enjoy learning on the job, being involved, and working with people who genuinely care about what they do, you’ll fit right in here.

We are closed today.

66 is still a very small outfit. A lot of what we serve takes days of prep behind the scenes, and with the kind of space we operate from, there’s only so much we can physically hold and produce at a time.

Between long preps, limited space, and a week that’s been far heavier than we expected, we’re using today to restock properly, reset the kitchen, and give the team a breather.

More importantly, we want the experience at 66 to reflect the benchmark we’ve set for ourselves - in quality, service, and what reaches the table.
We’d rather take the time to do things properly than rush through them halfway.

Thank you for all the love this past week. Truly.

The space has been full, the bench outside’s been occupied, and the downstairs window hasn’t really slowed down either.

For now, we’re going fully walk-ins only.

Over the year, our pies got around.

They showed up at cafés, bars, pop-ups, and spaces run by people who share our love for good food.
Sometimes we cooked together.
Sometimes we just rolled in with hot pies and let them do their thing.

Different setups, same intention - comfort food done right, shared with the right people.
Grateful for every invite, every table we got to be part of, and every pie that went out PHAT.
