Bhogali or Magh Bihu is our harvest festival which we celebrate through community feasting. It is the best time to be in Assam. You will find variety of food stalls and mela giving you a glimpse and taste of the diverse cuisine in Assam. You will find a wonderful amalgamation of the tribal style of cooking and the mainstream Assamese food all coming together. I will be cooking few of our traditional dishes which we have during Bihu. Please do order to get the taste of Assamese food and feel the Bihu vibes.

My last batch of Hurum with cream and gur. Hurum is puffed rice made of a particular variety of sticky rice called bora saul. It is crunchy and light. We get this mostly during Magh Bihu in January. Till I visit Assam next in January I will relish looking at these pics 🥰 Hurum ❤️

Thanks to .co.in for not letting me miss my Bihu pitha and laru. The pitha is super crisp, wafer thin. Have never eaten such lovely pitha. Specially the kola bora saul or pitha has such a lovely aroma and super thin . Enjoying every bite.
