We are Mango Cultivators in Ratnagiri (in village Gaonkhadi - 25 km from Ratnagiri city). Our Mango farms are spread across 80 acres of land at 5 different locations in the village. The packing house of more than 2500 Sq. is located at central location and is just 1 km off the Coastal Highway. Our mango farms are Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified and registered with MangoNET. Mango Varieties available in our farm - Alphonso (Hapus), Pairi, Kesar, Totapuri, Rayaval, Pavashi, etc. Under the brand name 'Mango Mood' we started delivering of Genuine Ratnagiri Alphonso Mangoes to our customers in major cities across India on door to door basis from 2014. Cashing in on increasing digital presence, we chose to market the produce through social media such as facebook, whatsapp. To serve our customers in better way, we started our retail outlets in Pune, Dombivali and Thane. Also we developed strategic partnership with channel partners in Mumbai and Dombivali. We have exclusive tie up with Palande Couriers for door to door delivery of mangoes. Each mango is handpicked carefully and weighted on Electronic Scale during sorting and grading process. Then mangoes are packed as per customer’s personalised requirements. Each year, Mango Mood family welcomes all our customers to visit Mango Farms and Packing House to experience the delicacy of fresh and tasty mangoes at the farm itself from March (3rd Week) to Last week of May. Customers roam around in the mango farm, have the real experience of harvesting the mangoes, grab ready to eat mangoes directly from trees, pack the mangoes on their own and take away the best of Mango Mood!

नमस्कार,

7 एप्रिलला या हंगामाची पहिली आंबा काढणी होईल, काढलेले आंबे खाण्यायोग्य होण्यासाठी 8-9 दिवस लागतील. अपेक्षेपेक्षा हंगाम 10-15 दिवसांनी उशिरा सुरू होणार आहे.

सध्या 4-5 दिवसांच्या अंतराने आंबा काढणी होईल, रोजच्या रोज आंबा काढणी सुरू होऊन, चांगल्या संख्येने आंबा उपलब्ध होण्यासाठी 15 एप्रिलची वाट पाहावी लागणार आहे.

80 - 85% परिपक्वतेची फळं आपण झाडावरून काढतो आणि पुढच्या 10 दिवसांत ही फळं खाण्यायोग्य होतात. एखाद्या झाडावरची सगळी फळं एकदम परिपक्व होत नाही, जसा टप्याटप्याने मोहोर येतो तशी फळं टप्याटप्याने परिपक्व होतात. त्यामुळे पूर्ण हंगामात एखाद्या झाडावरून 10-15 वेळा आंबे काढले जातात. सध्या आमच्या टीमला सर्व झाडं फिरून परिपक्व आंबे काढायला एकच दिवस पुरतोय, जसं जसं तापमान वाढत जाईल आणि तयार आंब्यांची संख्या वाढेल, तेव्हा सर्व झाडं फिरून आंबा काढायला 6-7 दिवस लागतील आणि रोजच्या रोज आंबा काढणी सुरू होईल.

यावर्षी थंडी खूप दिवस टिकून होती, त्यामुळे आंबे तयार होण्यासाठी अपेक्षेपेक्षा जास्त कालावधी लागला, गेल्या आठवड्याभरात तापमानात वाढ झाली असून आंब्यासाठी पोषक वातावरण तयार झाले आहे.

सुरुवातीला आंब्याची उपलब्धता मोजकीच असेल त्यामुळे दरही चढे राहतील, 15 एप्रिलपासून आंबे मुबलक प्रमाणात उपलब्ध होतील आणि दरही आवाक्यात येतील.

The first harvest of this season will take place on April 7. It will take about 8–9 days for the harvested mangoes to become ready for consumption. Overall, the season has been delayed by approximately 10–15 days compared to expectations.

At present, harvesting will occur at intervals of 4–5 days. It will take until around April 15 for daily harvesting to begin and for mangoes to be available in good quantities.

We harvest fruits at around 80–85% maturity, and they become ready to eat within the next 10 days. Not all fruits on a tree mature at the same time—just as flowering happens in stages, fruit maturity also occurs gradually. As a result, mangoes are harvested from a single tree 10–15 times over the entire season. Currently, our team is able to cover all trees and harvest mature fruits in a single day. As temperatures rise and the number of ready fruits increases, it will take about 6–7 days to cover all trees, and daily harvesting will begin.

This year, the winter lasted longer than usual, which delayed the ripening process. However, over the past week, temperatures have increased, creating favorable conditions for mango development.

In the initial phase, availability will be limited, and prices will remain high. From April 15 onwards, mangoes will be available in larger quantities, and prices are expected to become more reasonable.

या आंबा हंगामात खाण्यासाठी तयार आंबे अंदाजे 7 एप्रिल पासून मिळू शकतील. अजूनही आंबा काढणी सुरू होण्यासाठी 20-25 दिवस बाकी आहेत, या दिवसांमध्ये उष्णता आणि रात्री ची थंडी यामुळे थोडे दिवस पुढेमागे होऊ शकतात.

यावर्षीचा आंबा हंगाम आंबा शेतकऱ्यांसाठी गेल्या काही वर्षातील सर्वात अवघड हंगाम ठरणार आहे. सर्वत्र मोहोर येऊनही खूप कमी फळधारणा झाली आहे. फळधारणा कमी होण्याची अनेक गुंतागुंतीची कारणे आहेत. अगदी मोजक्याच बागांमध्ये काहीही वेगळं न करताही चांगली फळधारणा झालेली दिसत आहे.

जानेवारी महिन्यात लिहिलेल्या पोस्ट मध्ये म्हटलं होतं की मागून येणाऱ्या मोहोराला किती फळं लागतात त्यावर एप्रिल आणि मे महिन्यातील आंब्याची उपलब्धता अवलंबून असेल परंतु जानेवारी महिन्यात आणि फेब्रुवारी महिन्याच्या सुरुवातीला आलेल्या मोहोराची अवस्थाही आधीच्या मोहोरासारखीच आहे. पूर्ण हंगामात आंब्याची उपलब्धता मोजकीच असणार, याची आता खात्री झाली आहे. त्यामुळे निराश न होता, समोर दिसणारं पीक वाचवण्यासाठी सर्व शेतकरी प्रयत्नांची पराकाष्ठा करताना दिसत आहेत.

एप्रिल महिन्याच्या दुसऱ्या आठवड्यापासून MangoMood चा आंबा उपलब्ध होईल.

This year’s mango season is likely to be one of the most difficult seasons for mango farmers in the past few years. Although flowering was abundant everywhere, fruit setting has been extremely low. There are several complex reasons behind the poor fruit set. Interestingly, in a few orchards, good fruit setting has been observed even without any special interventions.

In a post written in January, it was mentioned that the availability of mangoes in April and May would depend on how much fruit set occurred on the later flush of flowering. However, the flowering that appeared in January and early February is now showing a condition similar to the earlier flush. It is now certain that the overall availability of mangoes throughout the season will be limited.
Despite this, farmers are not losing hope. Instead, they are making every possible effort to protect and save the crop that is currently visible in their orchards.

MangoMood mangoes will be available from the second week of April.

नमस्कार,

यावर्षी नोव्हेंबर महिन्याच्या शेवटच्या आठवड्यात आणि काही ठिकाणी डिसेंबर महिन्याच्या पहिल्या आठवड्यात आंब्याच्या झाडांना मोहोर यायला सुरुवात झाली. सगळीकडेच चांगली थंडी पडलेली असल्यामुळे सर्वत्र खूप चांगला मोहोर आला. मोहोर न आलेलं झाड शोधायलाच लागेल. मोहोराचे वेगवेगळे प्रकार असतात, काही मोहोर फूट दीड फूट लांब असतात, तर काही आखूड असतात, काही मोहोर पालवी मिश्रित मोहोर असतात. या हंगामात सर्व प्रकारचे मोहोर पहायला मिळाले. परंतु, काही अपवाद वगळता, मोहोरांमध्ये संयुक्त फुलांचा अभाव होता, त्यामुळे अपेक्षित फळधारणा झालेली दिसत नाहीये. एकूण आलेल्या मोहोरांच्या संख्येच्या तुलनेत 10% मोहोरात ही फळधारणा दिसत नाही. सुखलेल्या मोहोरांच्या काड्या झाडावर सर्वत्र दिसत आहेत. सुखलेल्या मोहोरांचा खच झाडांखाली पडलेला दिसत आहे.
थंडीचा जोर सध्या थोडा कमी झाला असला तरीही फळधारणा न झालेल्या मोहोराच्या फांदीतून नवीन मोहोर येण्यास सुरुवात झाली आहे.
आंबा हंगामाची सुरुवात मार्च महिन्याच्या शेवटी हळूहळू होईल, परंतु मोठ्या प्रमाणात आंब्याची उपलब्धता होण्यासाठी एप्रिल महिन्याचा दुसरा आठवडा उजाडेल, जर आत्ता येत असलेल्या नवीन मोहोराला चांगली फळधारणा झाली तर.
