It was formally known as The Cecil Hotel, and is a Heritage Property. The Hotel is situated in the best locality of Mussoorie – The Library Bazaar. A large terrace lies in front of the hotel from which one can savour the panoramic view of the lush green Doon Valley, from the back of the hotel one can witness the serene Himalayas and the perpetually snow-clad Mountains. The spacious Dinning and The Conference Hall with a capacity of 75 people (approx) is the specialty of the Hotel. All rooms have TVs with cable network, and wall-to-wall carpeting. Some rooms are with one double bed and some with two double beds. Our Hotel is most suitable for individual families and large groups. The Hotel has its own kitchen serving cuisine to suit all palate. The meals are prepared on a-la-carte basis to order. For large groups, meals are served to a fixed menu also. The room tariff is moderately set to suit all pockets of all type of tourists. For groups Special concessional tariff applies & self-cooking facilities.

Char Dukan is located in the Sister’s Bazar, in the cozy town of Landour in upper Mussoorie. Adjacent to it, is the beautiful church of St. Paul, which makes for a photogenic setting. Out of the four shops, the two which are especially famous are the “Anil’s Cafe” and the “Tip Top Tea Shop”, each having massive fanbases. There is a wide variety of mouthwatering snacks one can feast on here, including the Apple Cinnamon Waffles, Maggie and Bun Omelettes. There are several guide books available which can be referred to, if one wants to explore the serene, rustic surroundings of Char Dukan.

Set in the scenic hill-station of Mussoorie, concealed from the clamor of the mall road, Char Dukan is an iconic collection of four shops sitting side by side, which have served foodies since time immemorial.
