PahadKo is a Nepalese phrase that translates to ‘of the mountains’.

Growing up as a Nepalese in the hills of Shillong, I had the best of all worlds - the comforting familiarity of home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by the women and the men in our household, the distinct taste of Jhalupara (my beloved locality), and the unique Khasi culture of Meghalaya.

However, my journey as a home chef truly began when I embarked on a personal journey of building a new home in this hearty bustling city - Delhi. Yearning for the nostalgic flavors of Momo for evening snacks, the soul-warming aroma of Maasu ko Jhol (Chicken/Mutton gravy), the crispy delight of Sial Roti (Ring-shaped fried dough), and the earthy goodness of Nepalese Til ko Chutney (Black Sesame Chutney), I felt compelled to bring a piece of my heart to ‘Dilwalo Ke Dilli’.

With Pahadko, I bring to you my world, the timeless recipes passed down through generations, and a dash of amilo (tart), meetho (savoury), and peero (spicy).

PahadKo is a cloud kitchen, currently serving authentic Nepalese cuisine in and around Paryavaran Complex, Saket, New Delhi.
