The GHG Platform India is a collective civil society initiative providing an independent estimation and analysis of India's Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions across key sectors, namely, Energy, Industry, Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry, Land-use and Land-use change, and Waste. The platform includes notable institutions such as CEEW, C-STEP, ICLEI SA, Vasudha Foundation, and WRI India in addition to

a few sectoral experts in their individual capacity. The platform was jointly conceptualised by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation which is funding the project, and by Vasudha Foundation which acts as the Secretariat.
