Weekend thoughts - As we get ready to relaunch in the next few days , perhaps even hours - today we submit to Amazon India, the necessary details for approval - we ended up on a walk down memory lane.

Pictures of an afternoon some years ago, in the middle of the Western Ghats at our family farm. At that time, we had no clue that Cold-pressed Virgin Coconut Oil would be our first product, and that even House of Parita would be born.

And that's how life is. The same memories feel differently when you look back, but each time with different layers added on.

But some things we all usually do not wish to change. A way of connecting with the past and our beginnings. And so in this case, we wanted to relaunch with the same product that helped us begin this journey. Our beloved cold-pressed Virgin Coconut Oil.

Our first ragi batch! Emotions!! A couple of weeks back, we collected our first batch of ragi sourced from deep within the Western Ghats, sustainably grown in ways that need a separate post itself - just to elaborate how dearly the tribal farmers hold their lands to be.

It might seem like just a picture of a small pickup and some bags, but taking you along on our journey, and not just being another brand, was always something we were sure of. A House of Parita's 'Dear Diary' of sorts...

Since this picture was taken, the final stage of production has been initiated. Preorders are to be opened in weeks. The launch for December inches closer. And it's all now sinking in...

New products - New partnerships: We are very happy to share that we have entered into a partnership with , the only authorised government entity that takes care of the tribal millet farmers in the region, to source sustainably grown , farmed free from pesticides or fertilisers, of any form.

What started out as a journey more than a year ago to source additional products from farms that are organic in practise, and not just certified as such, brought us here in one of those many trips. What's even better - it will and truly aligns with our goals to turn where sustainable. For we must also be pragmatic, that not all that is in the past might be sustainable nor healthy. But this, truly is.

And at ATFAM, we now have a wonderful partner, driven chiefly by the most gracious host , who has helped and encouraged us at every step. Her trust in us, and her commitment to transparency, is something that we cherish and we have big dreams for. But small steps for now. One at a time..

That is not all, though. There are other products lined up from other locations. More on that in the next days as we prepare for the launch. Preorders will open in the coming weeks too 🥳 .

A picture that was taken in the spur of the moment, a few weeks ago. But one that now seems symbolic in many ways, for a new chapter in our story. The beginning of a new partnership that will take us even deeper .

As two women, one the Chief Dreamer at House of Parita and the other, the Chief Executive at an official government body for tribal farmers in kerala - met for the first time and shared their hands showing the seeds for one of our next products in different stages - it also set the stage for a collaboration between us that is now very close to our hearts. A journey, that we look to take you along too.

We are extremely humbled to have reached here. And look forward to sharing more details in the next days.
