When it comes to birthday cakes the most popular cake shop in India are ribbons & balloons and mongins. As both cake shop provides a good variety of tasty cakes.

I brought the following two cakes for my birthday from ribbons and balloons as it was nearby.

📍Ribbons And Balloons

• Choco Mocca - Rs 430/-
• Fruit of Forest - Rs 420/-

The packaging was good as per the standard of the brand.

The fruit of forest cake tasted better as it had more cream and was not too sweet. But when I tasted Choco Mocca it was too sweet and less creamy. The better option for chocolate cake would be the truffle cake rather than the choco mocca.

After completing our trek to sondai fort we were hungry and hunting for a good place to have lunch and take some rest and there we find this place called "Visawa Hotel" while enrouting matheran. The place had a normal ambience nothing fancy.

📍Visawa Hotel, Karjat

We order :

• Panner chilly Gravy - Rs 170/-
• Szhewan Rice - Rs 160/-
• Havmour matka kulfi - Rs 50/-

The food tasted really good😋 and the quantity was also decent.
I would recommend this place to someone travelling to matheran or karjat and is hungry.
