Crop Mitra will never suggest to avoid any of this step !
1) Never Invest More Money Than You Can Afford !
Yes, Agriculture looks very attractive from the outside but just like any other business, it is blood sweat and tears and takes time for the results to show. Don’t expect to become a millionaire overnight, start small.
2) Don’t fall for Ponzi schemes
Invest 20 lakhs and get 10 lakhs per annum guaranteed in 1 acre of land. Agriculture and Farming are hands on and require you to understand the process end to end. Nobody else will do it for you.
3) Don’t start without testing your soil and water and understanding the climate and requirement of Crop
This is the first step for any form of farming. Test your soil and water. If you are doing soilless, then water test is mandatory.
4) Don’t Start Without doing a proper market study
You can grow the best quality produce but you will only realise it when you have a market to sell to. Do a proper market study and grow and sell what the market demands and not what you want.
5) Farming Remotely
Farming is a hands on job. Be actively involved in your farm at least for the first few crop cycles.
If you need a starting point on how to begin your journey with farming, Text us, here we will educate you on all the key parameters you need to keep in mind to see success in Agriculture!
