Annadata safe food movement .... Toxin-free food is the need of the hour!

Today, at National Institute of Naturopathy, Annadata team had a meeting between Farmers, Suppliers and Consumers, the 3 pillars of Annadata safe food movement. We are glad to have participation from Kolhapur, farmers from Malkar, Karmala, Loni Kalbhor.

The objective of the meet was to understand the challenges, discuss solutions and channelising efforts towards a sustainable safe food economy

Key highlights of the meeting
*Consumers need trusted sources, consistent supply, and better prices

* Suppliers need consistency in demand from consumers to make logistics efficient and get quality products from farms

* Farmers have labour issues, lack of market demand and understanding from consumers about the laborious works in natural farming

How can we collaborate and channelise our energies to resolve these issues, Is the essence of Annadata collective

Samadhi and Seema shared the journey of the movement and opened up the session to move towards making larger impact. Past volunteers meeting new people made it an encouraging meet. As always, presence and guidance from Geeta tai is invaluable.

We look forward to such Manthan / brainstorming meets with consumer groups at many more locations.

His bee conservation work and Bee Friends initiative have been recognized by the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modiji in the 'Mann Ki Baat 2025'. Later, it is documented in a book published by the government of India in Hindi and English.
