Today being the special day of our Nation's birthday, we thought we would share with you something different - instead of the Flag Hoisting videos that are the obvious choices to commemorate this special occasion (and which we did, by the way) - as to how we celebrate our guests' birthdays.
We do it in a very simple yet traditional manner with the modern tadka of cake and lighting thrown in to achieve a rich blend of celebration tempered with the just the right amount of cultural immersion with the aukshan (aarti), Sanskrit chant and birthday song.
